Behind the track
Mountain Strings explores Albanian folk influences through atmospheric deep house, bringing the bright plucked character of çifteli and the raw resonance of lahuta into a warm electronic setting.
Organic rhythms inspired by def and daulle anchor a deep bassline, while spacious synths and unfolding string motifs create a danceable arrangement that feels intimate, rugged and expansive.
Across shadowed mountain ridges, old strings trace a path through the silence, guided by the steady heartbeat of deep house.
