Privacy & Cookies
A little information about what this site stores, and why.

Browse freely
You can explore the site and albums without accepting a cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Opening the tracklist or following an album link does not create the audio session cookie.
When you press Play
The site creates a first-party cookie named kabryan_session when you request audio playback, including through the “Listen now” button or a track in the player. It connects your browser to a temporary session so the server can validate playback links.
The cookie contains a randomly generated identifier, not your name or email address. It is used for playback access, not to build an advertising profile. A playback key stays on the server and is not shared with music platforms.
This is a session cookie with no fixed expiry date. It normally ends with your browser session, although browsers that restore sessions may retain it. Playback links expire after six hours. Server session files become eligible for cleanup after six hours of inactivity; the actual cleanup timing depends on the server configuration.
The cookie is inaccessible to page scripts (HttpOnly), restricted to same-site use (SameSite=Strict), and marked Secure when the site is served over HTTPS. Blocking it prevents the on-site player from working; you can still browse and use the external music links.
Remembering “Got it”
Closing the small privacy message saves kabryan_privacy_notice_v1 in your browser’s session storage. It only records that you dismissed the message, so it stays closed while you navigate or reload this tab. It is not a consent record and is not sent to the server.
This preference normally lasts until the tab is closed; browser session restoration may keep it longer. If session storage is unavailable, the message can still be closed, but may reappear on a reload.
Accessibility preferences
If you change the accessibility settings, the site saves your larger-text, high-contrast and reduced-motion choices in local storage under kabryan_accessibility_v1. These preferences stay in this browser across visits and are not sent to the server. No additional cookie is created.
Use “Reset settings” in the accessibility panel or clear the site’s browser data to remove them. Your device’s reduced-motion preference is still respected. If local storage is unavailable, the controls continue to work for the current visit.
Offline support & installation
On supported browsers, the site registers a service worker and caches public presentation files automatically, even if you do not install the app. These include images, fonts, styles, scripts, app icons and the offline page. This local cache supports repeat visits and the offline screen.
The app does not save MP3 files, signed playback links, audio session data or PHP page content in its offline cache. Music requires an internet connection. Cached files may remain until they are replaced, removed by the browser, or cleared by you.
Music platforms & social links
Spotify, YouTube, iTunes and social links take you to external services. They are ordinary links, not embedded players or tracking widgets. Once you open one, that service’s own privacy and cookie rules apply.
Contact & server requests
To limit automated playback requests, the server keeps short-lived request counters using keyed hashes of network or session identifiers. These counters are used for security, not advertising, and expire within one hour; expired entries are removed when new requests are processed.
If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message, and we receive the address and information you choose to send so we can reply. The contact link does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Like other websites, the hosting server receives connection information such as your IP address and requested URL. The hosting service may keep access and error logs for operation and security; their retention depends on the hosting configuration. The absence of analytics cookies does not mean there is no processing of connection data.
For questions about privacy or a request concerning information you have sent us, contact KABRYAN at hello@kabryan.com.
Your browser, your choice
You can remove this site’s cookies, session storage and cached files through your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing them may reset the privacy message, end audio playback and remove offline support. Uninstalling the app may not clear all browser site data.
We will update this notice if these features change. If we add optional technologies that require consent, we will ask before activating them.
