Behind the track
Balkan Nocturne opens Balkan Passage with a hypnotic fusion of Serbian folk influences and sophisticated deep house, blending expressive violin, airy frula melodies, accordion and warm Balkan brass colors.
A rolling bassline and organic percussion inspired by goč and tapan support atmospheric synths and intertwining folk phrases, creating an elegant, cinematic groove with a distinctly Balkan pulse.
A nocturnal passage through the Serbian landscape, where distant flutes, glowing brass and restless strings carry the night toward the dancefloor.
